Is SHA-1 a Good Hash?
The input space or the hash impression is much bigger than the output space of the hash impression. The big question is whether your hash infraction is able to actually do a very random conference. SHA-1 was developed, which was pretty safe until a few years ago when Google founded the project to fabricate two D3 and 5 with the same hash.
