To grieve someone, to go through grief, you have to oscillate between the two states. You can't stay weeping all the time because you might need the loo. And as grief goes on, so I'm 20 plus years for my dad dying. It's not good at maths. So if you're grieving, don't do dry January. That's not official advice from the guilty feminist or carry out by it. In a way, it's more focused. Sorry. The washing machine is doom scrolling.
