Mikwell thought of a movie that is just about being alive, and that you do not need to understand the location and context of these people to relate to the feelings of the people. He chose Gilbert grape from the 19 nineties - it's very human but he doesn't have anything in common with any of the characters. And i found myself crying through this movie and completely relating to the experience of what being alive is like. That's a good movie to explain why we're all so happy right now.
