Petrov Petrov's Death in the Cold War
Petrov Petrov is one of the saddest race of the Cold War I think on a personal basis he was he was actually reprimanded for what he did that night and he didn't keep an accurate log. The real reason they dinged him though was because he revealed the flaws in their OCO missile warning satellites. He embarrassed a lot of people much higher up in the chain of command and that's why he got he got crushed and he was never promoted again.
