How Did You Start Your Career in the Data Center Industry?
When I left school at the age of 16 probably about 350 years ago I started off as an apprentice carpenter and joiner working for my father who was a general builder and bricklayer. And for a long time worked around the building industry ended up working for a large housing association running their major repairs and new build programs across half of the country. It moved out to Asia in 2003 and very quickly learned how to make a small fortune in building surveying. Start with a big fortune and then came back here in 2015 continuing to work in data centers ever since. So in a way it's a bit like the old Morkham and Wiesgag fighting your way through the stage curtain
