The History of Horses

Horses were used as transportation and labor animals across the world. The greeks had pegasus, a white winged flying horse born to supernatural parents. And in stories where greek gods transformed into animals, the horse was always a common favourite. In nortic mythology, we have slipner, the favorite horse of odin. Perhaps that's why odin always rode slipnir when he wanted to visit the world of the dead - it could help him escape thanks to its speed.
