The two major gold rushes ar that take place here in the 18 fifties in california. Then south africa is the third kind of, i don't know, like, first as tragedy, second as farce. Most migrants from overseas come to northern china but many end up in southern and central Africa. So this was dastly version of a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy.
