Scientists need not to ask us to trust them, but to prove their trustworthiness by being careful and intellectually humble. You cannot get it by fiat, right? You have to earn it. We need ampathy a across these social divides. There's a fundamental lack of trust on a personal level. And hen that bleeds up to the stemic distrust and then er.
