The book is called the equality machine and it occurred to me as I was reading the book that there could have been other things you could have called it, right? Other paths you could have taken the book. So I'm curious before we get into how AI can improve equality, why did you think that was the most important thing to devote this book to rather than all the other things that AI will have an effect on? "There's been a lot of developments where we can really create these equality machines," he says.
