The Importance of Visual Differences in Beer
Peter: I suspect the visual difference between LME and DME has a greater positive impact on the final beer than any potential difference equality. Greg: A lot of people that those who are kind of well versed in beer styles were almost always saying, Oh, this tastes like an ESB or some other amber copper style. Both beers ended up being quite tasty. But it was fun to hear people call this what was, you know, put it in quotes, a blonde ale that did not look blonde to try to classifying it based on the way it looked as opposed to the way it tasted.
