Episode 64:Embracing the Unknown: Nomadic life and our Dom/sub dynamic
Welcome back, Devoted ones!
We recorded this episode about three weeks after leaving home to become full time nomads, living on the road in our RV and traveling the country.
This nomadic life is something we’ve looked forward to for many years, but the actual process of leaving the only place Dawn has ever called home has been an intense one, to say the least.
Up until now, she’s never lived more than 20 minutes from the place where she grew up, and there are many generations before her who have almost all stayed very close to home. So this uprooting was an even bigger deal than either of us could have anticipated.
This episode discusses what some of that process has been like for her, and how our Dom/sub dynamic has given her the space to let go of what was, so that she can embrace more of herself.
We lean pretty heavily into the concepts from Don Miguel Ruiz’s book “The Four Agreements” in this discussion, and if you haven’t read it, we highly recommend it!
