The Story of Barry Gordy Jr.
Barry Gordy Jr was as important to the music of the 60s, as Sam Phillips was to the 50s. As a child he was taught some of the rudiments of the piano by an uncle. He soon figured out that if you played the first three notes of an arpeggio together, you can get a simple triad chord. Once young Barry Goody Jr. figured out how to play the chords C, F, and G, he was able to start playing Boogie Wookie Piano by ear. And you almost can touch them from here.
