The Income Gap Between Rural and Urban Areas in China

There's still quite a bit of income gap between rural and urban areas in China. The latest estimate is that on every open residence are making at least more than two and a half times the level of income as an average rule resident. To access urban jobs means that you have to go there. You have to move there. And it's really driven by poverty, because earnings are higher in the cities.
