I could just have said, so professor, meaning iam a teacher. But in this case i was trying to put some stress on the word i. I am a teacher. Jo, so professor. And yo is the word for i. You don't need it when you're saying i am, you can say so and so means i am. We've no doubt many of you haven't exactly learned the words that are going to help you see what do.
