The Origins of Universities in Europe
Oxford, cambridge and montpellier were the first permanent universities to be formed. These different universities tended usually to imitate some precedent or existing institution. Some were more bologna style, right, where they'd be run by the students for the students. And that was common, especially in central europe, writing.
