The doctrine of original sin highlights the fact that, okay, we are created good, but broken. And we need salvation. If I don't understand my brokenness, I will never ever understand why God Himself had to become one of us in order to redeem all of us. That's how we're born into this world. We find ourselves in the possession of the evil one. The gospel is here is Jesus, the Savior of mankind and the Savior of the world. He doesn't want to be in relationship with you. They do not want to have a relationship with him. Revelation gives us the faith that the whole of human history is marked by the original fault committed by our first parents
