The Second Law of the Jewish Father of a Miner Is Prohibited
The father of a miner has the rights to marry off his daughter if he so chooses. The only reason why he would do it is if that slet' say, the only way to save her. But again, this is something that was only utilized in the most extreme of cases. It's quite clear, if you read this this particular case, that this is not a case of someone selling off er as a slave, as it could be interpreted. Rather, he's marrying off his daughter, and the daughteris being married with the full rights - there's no difference between this marriage and any other marriage.
