How Can You Convince Someone Who Says They're Not in the Market for Your Product or Service?

How can you convince someone who claims they're not in the market for your product or service that they actually are? We use something called availability bias and people will judge the likelihood of an event happening based on how readily they can recall a relevant example so what this means is before you ask someone to buy first you want to get them to think of a time in the past when if they had your product or services it would have really come in handy. You know, we did some work for um a a hand scanning company it was a manufacturer of hand scanners and a big issue with them was  if you have a compromised label on a package it ends up kind of gumming up the works
