Hum William Hogarth

Hum william hogarth was born to richard hogarth and anne gibbons in london, england, on november tenth, 16 97. At 15, he became a silversmith's apprentice, and he learned engraving skills. In that same year, he started taking formal in classes. But the normal curriculum for drawing lessons had the same effect on him as his early attempts that his education had. He found it frustrating and limiting. And so he turned to drawing school to expand the possibilities of his engraving work. When hogarth was 23, he opened his own shop.
