Do You Need to Do Eight Reps in a Warm-Up?

There's actually three phases to every repetition. People assume that if i'm doing eight reps in a set i should also do 8 reps in a warm-up but it's not necessarily true. You just need the muscle to be able to turn on the muscle you're training and the muscles that are that are sitting just basically supporting that joint or that exercise. There's actually quite a bit of scientific val of validity and data around doing a single rep.
