The Battle of Alba Sita

On March 11th, the Italians attempted to capture Torjia. The attack failed and they were forced to withdraw from the area. A counterattack was launched by the Republicans that would last for ten days. This included use of German HE-111 bombers as well as more Italian troops. On March 18th, Soviet tanks moved forward in a bid to keep momentum going. They eventually captured Bruheva but could not hold off the Republican advance. In the end, only half of Nationalist territory had been recaptured.
