The Relationship Between Hunger and Security
During high food price crises of two thousand and eight what we witnessed were riots and protests in some forty cities. And that instability, many would argue, in 20 11, those protests leapt to what became known as the arab spring. When mothers and fathers, when parents cannot feed their children, they migrate. And that type of population movement is, yet again, a security issue.
