The Proposal to Put the Obelisk Back Up in Santa Fe

A group of Santa Fe city counselors put together this proposal to put the obelisk back up. They wanted to put it back up with the original pieces, but fused together and make it pretty. And then Mayor Weber chimes in at the last minute with an add-on: Let's put a water feature because we're not in a historic drought. "I was literally speechless," he says.
