The Workers Movement's Constructing a Family Form
A core element of the workers movement was constructing a family form that was modeled after the bourgeoisie. This enabled them to distinguish themselves from non-respectable militarians, such as queers and sex workers. The end of the 1960s are an extremely contradictory period because on the one hand, all these various constituencies were asserting the right to join the workers movement.
