Is There a Surveillance System?

The system detects when a gun is fired. And, and so like you literally don't need anyone to report it, which is a really good thing, but it's also a really bad thing. The surveillance state is already here. That's why places like ACLU are asking about this stuff,. Because as I understand the detectors once planted, once deployed, they're also apparently much more frequent in minority communities. They call them high crime areas. But I mean, devil's advocate, if these gunshots are being detected there, is that really profiling? If the data is real and isn't perhaps it a good thing for those areas to be more policed?
