The odds that you are going to lose at some point 20, 30, 50% of your money is 100%. The Stoics would visualize death and what it would feel like. They were always prepared to die so that when it actually came, they weren't afraid. I think the core philosophies of Stoics too is also just a lot of humility about what you are not able to control in the world.
