Rehoboam: The Son of Solomon
Israel has been in rebellion against the house of David, to this day. Rehoboam sent Haderam, who was taskmaster over the forced labor, and the sons of Israel stoned him to death with stones. He built Bethlehem, Eton, Ticohah, Betzur, Sokko, Adulam, Gath, Marisha, Ziph, Adaraim, Lakhish, Azakah, Zorah, Aijalan, and Hebron. Priests and Levites that were in all Israel presented themselves to him from all places where they lived. So he held Judah and Benjamin.
