How Do We Know That Alpha Centauri Is the Closest Star?

There's an amount of chickens per light ear that we wouldn't notice. There are a lot of stars like it's importantore mebr that there are not nearly as bright as our kind of star, and they are a lot harder to detect. People always sayingoy, we don't know how many stars in the galaxy is really wide, and it might just count, just count, right? But it turns out, iworki our estimates are getting better. So there's different kinds of stars made of indesignated material with different brightnesses. We have a good idea on what's going on up above but still need more information.
