Is Story a Tool for Living?

i don't think it's such a unique definition, and i'll tell you why, for a number of reasons. My own definition that i'm my working definition of story in my book so far, is close to and maybe even synonymous. But i started with a kenneth rs definition, that story is a tool for living. And then i i went through a, what's his name? Jonathon dechambe, i think is his name, a definition, that stories are about information processing. Then i kind of murghed them and twicked them a little bit and came up with my definition, which is, stories and information processing technology. So does that make sense
