Collaborating With Collaborators?

Before COVID, when you were collaborating with other scientists and whatnot, were they from all over the world? Or were you physically working with them on the project? Both ways. And your collaborators, do you work with them like physically? I mean, I guess COVID times. Just forget COVID. It is spent a couple of weeks depending on the problem. So both in coordinating the problem as well as solving it.
