The Evolution of Agriculture

The basis of agriculture, the whole basis of e world economy, i say that with some thought, turns on hybridization. It's a development which has been destructive as well as constructive. We share our deana, don't we, as humans with anyone else? Yes. Well, i mean, this too is beginning to turn into a bit of a nightmare. I think if you are a naturalist, and you want to see, you want to keep diversity together, then i clearly we're losing many, many species. But we have to bear in mind that our presence in this studio turns on the ability to feed the billions of people in the world.
