Nano's Home in India
Asma Khalin: Nano was born in India and spent her early years there. Her family fled to Pakistan during partition, but she has never been back. In 2015, Mariam tried to track down their ancestral home by the train tracks. Johnny Veracou now lives in Nano's childhood home; he treated them like "celebrities," Asma says.
