Fenugreek and Testosterone

Fenugreek has a hormonal effect for sure. The DHT effects are a little bit strange so there are definitely some studies which are showing thicker hair with fenugreek and they think it's because it is inhibiting DHT production. But protodiosin actually speeds up the 5 alpha reductase enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. So in this particular extract, that's totally contradictory. There's more of a push probably towards DHT becoming more elevated rather than decreased. Overall though, it doesn't seem like it has a huge effect on prolactin nor a huge impact on overall testosterone levels.
