The Trial of Tiberius

Tiberius sent his son Drusus to meet with the soldiers of Pannonia. He wanted to show he was serious about their demands and would not blow them off. The men were angry that they had been treated differently from Tiberius' other children. They accused Drusus of playing a bad cop, good cop routine with them. But after one night's diplomacy, many agreed to give up their revolt.
