A blessing in disguise is something that seems bad or unlucky at first but ends up being good or beneficial. Today we'll talk about where Santa Con came from and how it's evolved to what it is today. Back in 1974, there was a group of political activists from a theater group called Solvognan. They were trying to raise money for an orphaned child who had been abandoned by his parents. The event became known as "Santa Con," which means 'conversation with another person'
