The Big Trick Is Overcoming Tribal Identity

The big trick is, as you say, overcoming tribal identities. The idea of everybody going into a conversation when they hear something they disagree with, the first question you should ask is, maybe i'm wrong. Most of our beliefs come from people we trust. So that's how i try to get at it. And i walk them through anno meta cognition and analyzing their biases  and understanding the limits of their own experiences to tell them about the world.
