The EU recently reduced the limit in oxybenzone in body products from 6% to 2.2%. Most of the time they're measuring biomarkers like amounts of sunscreens going into the blood, maybe getting processed by the kidneys and whether any metabolites are coming out in urine. There's sometimes like fluctuations in different hormones as well measured. And yeah, so far, like most of the studies are just extremely mixed. Like some of them will increase the hormone, decrease the hormone, have no change and there's no real trend at all.
