I was kind of going through some stuff and I like had to retool my life and take a break from I started, I started partying too hard and kind of hit the wall just in life. At that point I was growing out of wanting to be a professional like surfer because at the time too, I was kind of done with competition. And so I went and worked at Ruka for three years and that was an incredible experience they would have. They had like an amazing roster of artists and musicians and surfers and skaters. It was a really cool experience there. So then Bob Hurley who started Hurley approached me and said, hey, come work for Hurley.
