There's a variety of other little things that could have een done along the way to great less cost for us. Domestic tolerance for what is inevitably going to be a long engagemen, because civil wars last a long time. And then the thing that's brought of by thomas barfield and other major thinkers is that we should have created a constitution that was more vecentralized. If that had happened, they would have taken more care of the people, and the people wouldn't have turned to the talaban.
