The European Parliament Is a Symbol of Instability

Since the early 90s you've lived in France not in Germany. You're still very much associated as a German painter dealing with mythologies. One of your paintings actually does refer does it not to the European Parliament? Yes but one painting shows 1000 empty seats and this I took this image from my office. There's no fixed point it all moves, when you look at the quarks they move differently if you when you don't look. So it's all a symbol of instability and then this European Parliament is really a symbol of stability too.
