Is the SEC Restrictive With Cryptocurrency?
The SEC has been you know just so restrictive with crypto that that's pushed retail to trade in exchanges outside of the US. So imagine if retail could have access to an ETF Bitcoin spot product. That would mean that the SEC has oversight of exactly how thatETF is being managed and run. It would be running on existing infrastructure in the US markets which knows how to mitigate risk through some of the major brands like GBTC or FTX. And without that well you could buy this GBTC thing but that doesn't look so good right. The infrastructure is more or less unregulated today.
