The Danger of a Toxicly Positive Culture

There's a lot of talk in psychology circles about toxic positivity, right? Whether that's in the work place, you have to be positive all the time. And i know a lot of leaders who are like, don't give me bad news,. It'slike, well, there's just news. I don't know what we do with ita. But if you look atit, you'd like even the biblical tradition, the christian and hebrew scriptures, right? You know, the psalms are as much lament as joy, i mean, and there are some that are just pure lament. The danger is that you're not speaking truly to people's hearts.
