Nuclear weapons were a significant cause of the cuba missile crisis itself. We are in the process of re capitalizing the trident system, so the submarines, the missiles and warheads. The first of those is due to be commissioned into service in the early 20 thirties. Thats the deterrence aspect and the international aspect. But are we missing something here? Is there a domestic element to briton's need for try.
