Jonathan Zuckerman: I don't really agree with that myself. He seems to think first of all that the consciousness is a very specific aspect which has to do with certain amount of speed and so speed of connection is what would give rise let's say to consciousness. You can perceive that at the city level the connections are slow you know like writing emails and writing letters and and you know people talking amongst each other in order to organize the activities of the city. You would have a slower connection and so I don't to be honest I don't mind that there are just different types of consciousness, he says.
