The Role of Christians in the Wider Society
The purpose of being a Christian is to be a light for others, he says. In the Bible, Christians are salt which preserves what's worth preserving and salt that puts to death what should be put to death. Our job in the wider society is to be 11 in a light, in a direction - our lives are other directed. We have a function precisely in the society.
