60 disabled people on crutches and in wheelchairs went to the capital building in Washington. The Americans with Disabilities Act had spent years being debated without getting signed. Instead of simply talking about it, they put skin in the game. There are 79 hard, wide marble steps in the site that 60 disabled people dragging themselves up those steps was unforgettable.
