Chau Chescu: A Tyrant and a Smart Peasant

Romanians saw in Chau Chescu one of their own who was unequal foot standing with the world's bigger players. When he condemned the military intervention Czechoslovakia, Romanian enthusiasm was spontaneous. This act of defiance against Moscow brought him the respect of the entire world. He is very good at navigating a similar situation in the Communist Party.
