The 75 States Idea Is a Good Idea
GST is latest attempt to redress what was a very bad situation before. But still I am sure the states don't feel good that they have to go always with a begging bowl to the center, he says. The 75 states idea is something that is grounded in a lot of practicality. We do not need to have central education institutions. A student from Bengal should be able to feel happy, say IIT level or IITlevel or IIM level thinking in Bengal itself. Anybody's first instinct is to go and study in a place close to home.
