The First Elements When Writing Movies and TV Shows

Every audience goes to a movie or gets on Netflix for the exact same reason that you do. They want to feel like love is possible and they're going to show up and watch a romantic comedy because it's going to make them feel that. Or maybe they want to feel an adrenaline rush. And if you don't deliver that feeling, the audience is going to be pissed off. That doesn't mean that you should adjust the feeling of your show for your audience. There are a million genres, there are a million kinds of feelings and there are amillion kinds of mixes of feelings.
