Calories Should Never Be Counted

I think the pendulum is simply swung too far. Protein is meant to be consumed with fat. Calories should never be counted. Even carbohydrates, if the carbohydrates are from these non-starchy, sugary sources like vegetables that grow above the ground and fruits that aren't tropical don't even count them. The moment we start counting things, we've introduced tedium into something that should be enjoyable.
